My master’s thesis at IUST. Hybrid manufacturing/remanufacturing systems face uncertainty on multiple fronts simultaneously:

  • The quality and quantity of returned products,
  • Production and reprocessing times,
  • Demand for both new and remanufactured products.

I developed a multi-objective robust optimization model that handles these sources of uncertainty jointly, enabling strategic capacity and sourcing decisions that remain feasible across a budgeted uncertainty set. The two working papers on my CV (on hybrid planning and on green closed-loop supply chains) extend this work.
